October 23, 2015

As October flies by, students have been working hard! Both second and third graders have been writing some fantastic fall poetry. We also held our annual Trunk-or-Treat event this week!

Halloween Poetry
Mrs. Jost's and Mrs. Doyle's students created some awesome pieces of poetry!

Our annual Trunk-or-Treat was held Friday evening at the Elementary School! The PTO did a fantastic job of organizing a GREAT night for all! Thanks also go out to Officer Tony from the Douglas Police Department for talking to students about Halloween safety and the member of the Douglas High School marching band that led the costume parade with their great music! A HUGE thank you to the 25 families who volunteered to decorate their cars and hand out candy! Congratulations to the Ciccone family who won for their crypt themed decorations!
