Cover Story
Ms. Babigian's class partnered up to make book covers to distinguish the difference between narrative and expository writing on a topic.

Go Patriots!
We celebrated our first spirit day on Thursday! We all dressed up in our finest Patriots gear to root on the home team!

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!!

The PTO held its annual Ice Cream Social this Friday night in the Elementary School cafeteria. With ice cream donated by The Ice Cream Lady and toppings brought by families, a delicious time was had by all! We collected TONS of Box Tops and awarded gift certificates to 2 lucky students! Congratulations to our luck winners Layson DeYoung and Liam Menard! We also began selling raffle tickets for the LEGO Bundle and American Girl Doll Isabelle. We will also be selling tickets at Octoberfest if you didn't get one at the Social! A HUGE thanks to our PTO, volunteers, and the Ice Cream Lady for making this a enormous success!

Welcome to the Jungle

The PTO is sponsoring a great program in our schools this week. Understanding Wildlife will be presenting a LIVE Rainforest Show for all Primary and Elementary students on Wednesday morning. There will also be a show for families at 6:00pm in the Elementary School gymnasium. There is a $5.00 admission fee for the evening show. We hope to see you there!

Superheroes in Training
The elementary school has become a superhero training academy this year. In conjunction with our Social Thinking curriculum, we are all working on developing our superpowers. I know that each of us will work hard to be the best superhero we can be and make our school a SUPER place to be!
Grammar Dancing
Mrs. Hippert's class got their groove on as they danced to a song that reinforced this week's grammar skill!

Open House Prep
Mrs. Martinsen's class poses with "themselves" in preparation for this year's Open House. Students interviewed a classmate and wrote a bio poem about their new classmate.

Open House 2016
On Wednesday night we opened our doors to families for our yearly Open House night. Students showed their parents around the building, introduced them to their teachers, and showed off their hard work! A good time was had by all as we kicked off another great school year!
