December 16, 2016

December is quickly coming to an end! We have been working hard and having fun too!

Do You Recognize Me?

Our Lost and Found tables are growing. Has your child lost something? Do you recognize any of these items? Please remind your child to check the tables in the lobby for anything that belongs to them.

Yankee Candle

Our Yankee Candle Fundraiser was available for pick-up this week. If you didn't come and pick up your order, please stop by the main office. We'll help you get your order.

Candy Cane Shoppe

Thanks to the PTO, our students had a wonderful time buying and wrapping gifts for family and friends this past week. The Candy Cane Shoppe provided lots of gifts options beginning at $0.25 and our students loved it!!

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf

As part of their Empowering Writers lessons, Mrs. Theriault's students described, illustrated, and wrote about the big bad wolf of fairy tale fame.

Snow Day Fun

Mrs. Hippert's students created some great drawings of themselves catching snowflakes on their tongues and wrote about what they like to do in the snow. They also "shrunk" themselves down and traveled inside snow globes for some winter wonderland fun!

Fourth Grade Cares

Fourth graders have a "Random Acts of Kindness" list and are checking it twice as they perform good deeds for those around them.

Elves on the Loose

Second graders have made elves to deck the halls. Mrs. Doyle's students have written some rhyming couplets to introduce us to their elves!

You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!

Second and third graders are performing kind acts for others to show Mr. Grinch that they CARE!

These Are a Few of Our Favorite Things

Mrs. Martinsen's students used nouns as the backdrop to show off some of their favorite things.

Goody, Goody, Gumballs!

Third graders are progressing nicely with their multiplication facts. The majority of students are on their 3's, 4's, and 5's. Keep up the good work!

Awesome Art

Third graders learned about complimentary colors as well as positive and negative space. Second graders created ice cream cones using their knowledge of tint, shade, and value change.
